About Tathra and Bega
Tathra is a seaside town on the Sapphire Coast found on the South Coast, New South Wales, Australia, in Bega Valley Shire
Bega is the economic centre for the Bega Valley, known for Bega Cheese.
Since December 2019, the congregations that were meeting at each location have combined to meet as one congregation at Tathra.
About Us
We are a fellowship of reconciliation, living God's love and acting for the common good to build a just and compassionate community.
Tathra Uniting Church Mission statement:
“We follow Jesus in love for God, people and all creation.”
Our members affirm a commitment to active discipleship within the Congregation and the community by:
o acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord
o determination to follow him in daily life
o intention to participate actively in the fellowship of the Church and to support its work
o resolution to seek the extension of the reign of God in human society.
During our services, we come together to read the bible, listen to someone teach from it, we sing, we pray, and we catch up together.
